North Crawley Ladies

NCL meet in the Public Bar at The Cock Pub on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, plus additional trips out. If you would like to join the group or need a lift to one of the trips, please contact Sue Garner on or Vera Jenkins on 07834 452861

The next meeting will be  held on Wednesday 19 September when we will be visited by Marie Gracie who will be discussing ‘releasing creativity’.

From the amount of patterns given out, there are quite a few of us who are knitting poppies for Remembrance Day in November; please bring along any poppies that you have finished either to the September meeting so others can admire, or to the October meeting at the latest. Also, apparently purple poppies commemorate the horses that died, so feel free to knit/crochet red and/or purple.  At the October meeting we’ll sort out the best way to ‘display’ our efforts!!

By the time we meet on the 19th, four of us will have visited the Heart of the Shires Shopping Village in Weedon and in October there will be 13 of us going to MK Theatre to see (and dance) to Motown!!

Here is an update and thoughts for activities over the next few months:

Wednesday 17th October: Liz Earle

Wednesday 21st November hotel chocolate TBC

Wednesday 19th December: Xmas Meal

January’s gathering in the pub will be a look back and evaluation of the past 11 months and how you want the next year to look.
