North Crawley Neighbourhood Plan
Where are we with the Neighbourhood Plan?
North Crawley Neighbourhood Plan progressed to a Referendum on 26 September 2019 but was rejected by residents. Click here to see the result of the Referendum. Also click here to reach the Milton Keynes Council website for further details.
Following the rejection of the Plan, there was a strong feeling within the village that a Neighbourhood Plan was in fact necessary to protect the village against unwanted speculative housing applications. The North Crawley Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group has therefore been set up by the Parish Council again to explore ways in which the Neighbourhood Plan might be amended to meet the views of the majority of the residents. The Terms of Reference for the Steering Group can be seen here. Personal statements of the members of the Steering Group can be seen by clicking here.
The Steering Group will meet weekly and a public monthly meeting will be held in the Village Hall to update residents on the progress made.
Minutes of the Steering Group meetings are shown below along with copies of information leaflets produced for residents and notes from Public Meetings.
